El Alfa

El Alfa, born Emmanuel Herrera Batista, is a Dominican dembow artist from Santo Domingo. He rose to prominence in the mid-2010s with high-energy dembow tracks and became one of the leading figures in the genre’s global spread. Known for rapid-fire flow, viral dance challenges, and collaborations with reggaeton and Latin trap artists, he has released numerous mixtapes and albums on his own label. His 2018 single “Dema Gà” and later hits like “La Romana” with ROSALÍA helped bring dembow to mainstream Latin audiences. El Alfa maintains a prolific release schedule and strong presence across streaming platforms.
