Gente De Zona

Gente de Zona is a Cuban reggaeton and timba group formed in Havana in 2000 by Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom. They rose to international prominence with their 2014 collaboration with Enrique Iglesias on the hit single “Bailando,” which topped charts worldwide and earned multiple Latin Grammy Awards. The duo blends traditional Cuban timba rhythms with modern reggaeton and dance-pop, creating a signature sound that fuses Afro-Cuban percussion with electronic beats. Their 2017 album “Visualízate” and subsequent releases further solidified their status as leading figures in Latin urban music. Gente de Zona has collaborated with artists including Pitbull, Marc Anthony, and Becky G, and they continue to represent Cuban music on global stages.
