Mambo Kingz

Mambo Kingz is a Puerto Rican reggaeton production duo formed by brothers Edgar W. Semper and Xavier Semper. Based in Puerto Rico, they rose to prominence in the mid-2010s as in-demand producers for major Latin urban artists. Their signature sound blends reggaeton rhythms with trap latino elements and has powered multiple chart-topping singles. They produced the global hit “Despacito” for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, as well as tracks for Bad Bunny, Farruko, and J Balvin. The duo maintains an active presence on social media and continues to release music under their own name alongside production work.
