The‐Dream

Terius Youngdell Nash, known professionally as The-Dream, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He rose to prominence in the mid-2000s with his debut album Love/Hate and the hit single “Shawty Is a 10.” The-Dream has written and produced numerous chart-topping tracks for artists including Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, and Justin Bieber. His signature style blends R&B, pop, and hip-hop with lush synth production and melodic hooks. Notable projects include albums Love vs. Money, Love King, and IV Play, as well as co-writing Rihanna’s “Umbrella” and Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” He has received multiple Grammy nominations and continues to release music while maintaining an active production career.
