Foo Fighters
About
Foo Fighters formed in 1994 in Seattle as a solo project by Dave Grohl after Nirvana ended. The band quickly became a full group and released their self-titled debut in 1995. They are known for arena rock, post-grunge and alternative rock with melodic hooks and powerful live shows. Major albums include The Colour and the Shape, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, and Wasting Light. The lineup stabilized around Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear. They have won multiple Grammy Awards and headlined festivals worldwide.
