Chris Stapleton is an American singer-songwriter from Kentucky known for his gritty, soul-infused country sound. After fronting the bluegrass band The SteelDrivers, he moved to Nashville and built a career as a songwriter before releasing his debut solo album Traveller in 2015. The record topped the Billboard 200 and earned multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. Stapleton’s follow-up From A Room: Volume 1 also won Album of the Year, and he has since collaborated with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, and the Rolling Stones. His music blends outlaw country, Southern rock, blues, and soul, anchored by a powerful baritone voice.
