Bio
Jimmy Page is an English guitarist, songwriter, and record producer best known as the founder of Led Zeppelin. Born in Heston, Middlesex, in 1944, he began his career as a session musician in the 1960s, contributing to recordings by artists such as The Who and The Kinks before forming the Yardbirds and later Led Zeppelin. As Led Zeppelin's lead guitarist, Page shaped the band's sound through his innovative use of distortion, alternate tunings, and production techniques. His work on albums like Led Zeppelin IV and Physical Graffiti helped define hard rock and heavy metal. After the band's dissolution in 1980, he continued to record and perform, collaborating with artists including Robert Plant and John Paul Jones.
