Joyce Moreno is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and guitarist born in Rio de Janeiro in 1948. She emerged in the late 1960s as part of the second wave of bossa nova, blending the style’s gentle harmonies with jazz and MPB influences. Over a career spanning more than five decades, she has released dozens of albums, collaborated with artists such as Toninho Horta and João Donato, and maintained an international following through performances in Europe, North America, and Japan.
