Bio
Jan Jansen is a Dutch clarinetist based in the Netherlands. He has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, specializing in classical repertoire with a focus on contemporary and 20th-century works. Jansen has collaborated with leading Dutch orchestras and ensembles and is noted for his precise technique and expressive phrasing. His discography includes recordings on labels such as Attacca and Globe, featuring both standard clarinet literature and new compositions. He has also contributed to educational projects and masterclasses within the Dutch classical music community.
