Bio
Blandine Verlet was a French harpsichordist born in 1942 in Paris. She studied with Huguette Dreyfus and Zuzana Růžičková and became known for her historically informed performances of Baroque repertoire. Verlet recorded extensively for Astrée and Philips, including acclaimed sets of François Couperin and J.S. Bach. She also championed lesser-known French harpsichord composers and contributed to the early-music revival in France. Her playing combined technical precision with expressive nuance and remained influential among period-instrument performers.
