MC GP is a Brazilian funk artist from São Paulo known for his work in the funk consciente and trap funk scenes. He rose to prominence in the early 2020s with a series of viral hits that blend introspective lyrics with heavy 150 BPM beats. His breakout track "Deu Onda" helped establish him as one of the leading voices in the new generation of Brazilian funk. MC GP frequently collaborates with producers and fellow MCs from the São Paulo periphery, releasing music independently before securing wider distribution.
