Kaidi Tatham

Bio

Kaidi Tatham is a British multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer from Redditch, England, known for his work in broken beat, nu jazz, and jazz-funk. He first gained recognition in the late 1990s as a founding member of the influential broken-beat collective Bugz in the Attic, contributing keyboards, production, and arrangements to the scene’s signature sound. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Tatham released solo material and collaborated with artists such as Vikter Duplaix, Marc Mac, and Children of Zeus, while also issuing albums under his own name that blend live instrumentation with electronic grooves. His work is noted for its warm Rhodes and synth textures, intricate rhythms, and fusion of jazz harmony with UK dancefloor sensibilities.
