Mario Biondi is an Italian singer, songwriter and musician born in Catania, Sicily, on 28 January 1971. He is known for his deep, soulful baritone voice and his fusion of classic soul, jazz and Italian pop. Biondi began his career in the 1980s as a session and backing vocalist before releasing his debut solo album, "Handful of Soul," in 2006. The record brought him widespread recognition in Italy and abroad, establishing him as one of the country’s leading interpreters of soul music. Over the following years he has released several successful albums, collaborated with international artists and performed extensively across Europe, maintaining a reputation for polished live shows and heartfelt renditions of both original material and covers.
