Bio
The Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra is South Korea’s oldest and largest professional orchestra, founded in 1948. It performs a wide-ranging repertoire that spans the standard symphonic canon and contemporary classical works, and it regularly collaborates with internationally renowned conductors and soloists. Based in Seoul, the orchestra serves as the resident ensemble of the Seoul Arts Center and undertakes extensive domestic and international touring. Its recordings are available on major streaming platforms, and it maintains an active educational and community-outreach program throughout South Korea.
