Bio
Günter Högner is an Austrian horn player born in Vienna. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and became principal horn of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Högner has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician, appearing with the Vienna Horns and other ensembles. His recordings include works by Mozart, Strauss, and contemporary composers, and he has contributed to numerous Vienna Philharmonic releases. He is recognized for his precise technique and contributions to the Viennese horn tradition.
