Bio
Criolo is a Brazilian rapper and singer from São Paulo whose work blends hip-hop with samba, MPB and other Brazilian styles. He first gained widespread attention with the 2011 album 'Nó na Orelha', whose socially conscious lyrics and eclectic sound earned both critical acclaim and commercial success in Brazil. Subsequent releases such as 'Convoque Seu Buda' (2014) and 'Boca de Lobo' (2022) continued to explore themes of inequality, identity and urban life while experimenting with new musical textures.
