Sevendust is an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994. The group blends alternative metal, hard rock, nu metal, and rap metal, and has maintained a consistent lineup centered around vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, guitarists John Connolly and Clint Lowery, bassist Vinnie Hornsby, and drummer Morgan Rose. Since their self-titled debut album in 1997, Sevendust has released more than a dozen studio albums and built a reputation for intense live performances and emotionally charged songwriting.
