Bio
Fatma Said is an Egyptian soprano born in Cairo in 1991. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and the Royal College of Music in London, where she won several prizes. Her repertoire spans Mozart, Strauss, and French mélodie, and she has appeared at major houses including the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Glyndebourne Festival. Said is noted for her clear, lyrical voice and her advocacy of Arabic art song alongside the Western canon.
