Bio
The King's Singers are a British a cappella vocal ensemble formed in 1968 by six choral scholars from King's College, Cambridge. The group has maintained a consistent lineup of six male voices spanning the vocal range from countertenor to bass, and is renowned for its precise intonation, blend, and wide-ranging repertoire that includes Renaissance polyphony, contemporary classical works, folk arrangements, and popular music. Over more than five decades the ensemble has toured extensively worldwide, released dozens of albums, and collaborated with orchestras, composers, and soloists across genres. Their performances and recordings have helped popularize unaccompanied singing and have earned them a lasting place in the classical and choral music communities.
