Bio
Bebu Silvetti (1944–2003) was a Mexican pianist, composer, arranger, and producer whose career spanned Latin pop, bolero, and instrumental music. Born in Quilmes, Mexico, he became known for his lush orchestral arrangements and signature piano style, contributing to recordings by major Latin artists throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Silvetti also released several solo albums featuring his own compositions, most notably the instrumental hit “Spring Rain.” His work as a producer and arranger earned him lasting recognition in Latin music circles, and his catalog continues to influence contemporary bolero and easy-listening repertoires.
