Bio
Raphael (born Miguel Rafael Martos Sánchez, 5 May 1943) is a Spanish singer and actor from Linares, Jaén. He rose to fame in the 1960s with a dramatic, operatic vocal style and became one of the leading figures of the balada romántica genre across the Spanish-speaking world. Over a career spanning six decades he has released dozens of studio albums, starred in several films, and maintained a large international following.
