Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band formed in Riverside, California in 2002. The group is known for its aggressive blend of death metal, metalcore, and hardcore elements, featuring heavily downtuned guitars, blast beats, and guttural vocals. The band gained prominence in the mid-2000s underground metal scene with their debut album "The Cleansing" (2007) and subsequent releases that helped define the deathcore genre.
