Texas is a Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow in 1986. The group rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits such as "I Don't Want a Lover" and "Say What You Want," blending rock, pop, and soul influences. Fronted by singer Sharleen Spiteri, Texas has released multiple successful albums and maintained a presence in the UK music scene for over three decades.
