Orchestra La Scintilla is a Swiss period-instrument ensemble founded in 1996 and based in Zurich. The orchestra specializes in historically informed performances of 17th- and 18th-century opera and orchestral repertoire, collaborating regularly with leading conductors and soloists in the Baroque and Classical fields. Its recordings appear on major labels and its concerts are presented at prominent Swiss and international venues.
