Bio
Harry Christophers is an English conductor renowned for his work in early music and choral repertoire. Born in Kent in 1953, he founded The Sixteen in 1979, an ensemble that has become one of the world’s leading exponents of Renaissance and Baroque choral music. Christophers is also known for his long association with the Handel and Haydn Society of Boston, where he served as artistic director from 2009 to 2022.
