Bio
David Bell is a British composer, conductor and arranger best known for his extensive work scoring television drama and film. Active since the 1970s, he contributed music to numerous BBC productions including the long-running series All Creatures Great and Small and the 1984 television adaptation of The Jewel in the Crown. His style blends orchestral scoring with period-appropriate cues and subtle thematic development suited to dramatic storytelling. Bell also worked on feature films and collaborated with directors such as Christopher Miles. He remains recognized within UK television music circles for his reliable craftsmanship and understated yet effective scores.
