Bio
Ellen Allien is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label owner who has been a central figure in the city’s techno scene since the early 1990s. She founded BPitch Control in 1999, releasing influential records that helped define the sound of Berlin techno and electroclash. Her own productions blend acid, minimal, and electro elements, and she has released albums such as Berlinette (2003) and Orchestra of Bubbles (2006, with Apparat). Allien continues to perform worldwide and run her label, maintaining a presence at the forefront of electronic music.
