Bio
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is an American indie-rock band formed in Philadelphia in 2004. The group gained early attention with its self-titled debut album, which was self-released and later reissued by the independent label Wichita Recordings. Their sound is characterized by frontman Alec Ounsworth’s distinctive vocals and a mix of guitar-driven arrangements and electronic textures. Subsequent releases such as Some Loud Thunder (2007) and Only Run (2014) continued to explore this blend of indie-rock and experimental elements.
