Bio
maNga is a Turkish rock band formed in Ankara in 2001. Their music blends alternative rock with elements of anatolian rock and electronic influences, creating a distinctive sound that has resonated across Turkey and internationally. The group gained wider recognition after representing Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "We Could Be the Same," finishing in second place. Over the years, maNga has released several studio albums and maintained a presence in the Turkish rock scene. Their work often incorporates Turkish folk motifs alongside modern rock arrangements, reflecting the cultural fusion suggested by their genre tags of anatolian rock and turkish pop.
