Vashti Bunyan is an English singer-songwriter whose delicate, acoustic folk music gained a cult following decades after its initial release. Her 1970 debut album Just Another Diamond Day, recorded while traveling through the British countryside, remained largely overlooked until its reissue in the early 2000s brought her work to a new audience. Bunyan's hushed vocals and sparse instrumentation have influenced subsequent generations of folk and indie musicians.
