Bio
Edgar Moreau is a French cellist born in Paris on 3 April 1994. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris and quickly gained recognition for his technical mastery and expressive interpretations of both standard repertoire and contemporary works. Moreau has performed with leading orchestras across Europe and North America and is noted for his chamber-music collaborations with artists such as Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Gautier Capuçon. His recordings on the Erato label include concertos by Saint-Saëns, Dvořák, and Elgar, as well as recital discs exploring French impressionist repertoire.
