She first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the pop group Matia Bazar, contributing to several hit singles and albums in the 1970s and 1980s. After leaving the band in 1989, she launched a solo career that blends pop, classical, and sacred music, often performing in churches and collaborating with orchestras.
