Bio
John Forte is an American rapper, singer, and producer born in Brownsville, Brooklyn. He gained recognition in the late 1990s as a member of the Fugees' extended circle, contributing to their Grammy-winning album The Score and later releasing his debut solo album Poly Sci in 1998. His career was interrupted by a federal drug conviction, after which he received a presidential pardon from Bill Clinton in 2001. Forte has since focused on music education and community work while continuing to release independent projects.
