Bio
Lost Boyz were an American hip hop group formed in South Jamaica, Queens in 1995. The group, consisting of Mr. Cheeks, Freaky Tah, Spigg Nice, and Pretty Lou, gained recognition with their 1995 single "Lifestyles of the Rich & Shameless" and the follow-up hit "Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz & Benz." Their debut album Legal Drug Money (1996) and subsequent releases Love, Peace & Nappiness (1997) and LB IV Life (1999) established them within the East Coast hip hop scene. The group disbanded after the murder of member Freaky Tah in March 1999. Their music is characterized by storytelling lyrics and production rooted in the golden age of hip hop, reflecting the experiences of Queens street life during the mid-1990s.
