Bio
Yekwon Sunwoo is a South Korean classical pianist born in Anyang in 1989. He first gained international attention after winning the gold medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2017. Sunwoo is known for his refined technique and expressive interpretations of the Romantic repertoire, particularly the works of Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. He continues to perform with major orchestras and appears regularly in recital halls around the world.
