Jamie xx is an English DJ, record producer, and remixer born in London on 28 October 1988. He first gained recognition as a member of the indie band The xx, contributing to their Mercury Prize-winning debut album xx (2009) and its follow-up Coexist (2012). As a solo artist, he released the critically acclaimed album In Colour in 2015, which showcased his distinctive blend of electronic, house, and UK garage influences. His production work extends to collaborations with artists such as Drake, Alicia Keys, and Adele, and he has also established himself as a prominent remixer and club DJ.
