Bio
Academia Montis Regalis is an Italian early-music ensemble founded in 1994 and based in Turin. The group specializes in historically informed performances of Baroque repertoire, ranging from instrumental concertos to full-scale operas. Under the direction of conductor and violinist Enrico Gatti, the ensemble has recorded extensively for labels such as Opus 111 and Hyperion, earning acclaim for its scholarly approach and lively interpretations of 17th- and 18th-century Italian music.
