Gary Barlow is an English singer, songwriter, pianist and record producer born on 20 January 1971 in Cheshire West and Chester, United Kingdom. He first rose to prominence as the lead singer and primary songwriter of the pop group Take That, penning many of the band’s biggest hits. After the group’s initial split, Barlow pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as Open Road and Twelve Months, Eleven Days, and later reunited with Take That for further chart success. Beyond performing, he has also served as a judge on The X Factor and composed music for film and television.
