Shankar Jaikishan was an Indian composer duo formed in 1949 by Shankar Singh Raghuvanshi and Jaikishan Dayabhai Panchal. They became one of the most successful and influential music director partnerships in Bollywood history, scoring music for over 600 films between 1949 and 1987. Their work spanned romantic ballads, classical-based compositions, and experimental fusion pieces that shaped the sound of Hindi cinema for nearly four decades.
