Bio
Jean-Guihen Queyras is a French cellist born in Montréal in 1967. He studied at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg and later with Yo-Yo Ma in Paris. Queyras has performed as a soloist with major orchestras and is a founding member of the Arcanto Quartet. He teaches at the Musikhochschule Freiburg and records extensively for Harmonia Mundi.
