Alibi is a Brazilian drum and bass duo formed in São Paulo by DJs Level 2 and Chap. The pair emerged in the late 2000s, quickly establishing themselves within the South American drum & bass scene through energetic DJ sets and original productions that blend classic jungle roots with modern liquid funk sensibilities. Their releases on labels such as V Recordings, Fokuz, and their own Alibi Music imprint showcase a balance of rolling basslines, soulful vocals, and atmospheric textures. Alibi have performed at major festivals across Brazil and Europe, helping to expand the global reach of Brazilian drum and bass while maintaining a distinctive, groove-oriented sound.
