He began his career as a songwriter, penning hits for artists such as Blake Shelton, Lady A, and Maren Morris before launching his own recording career. Hurd released his debut EP, "Ryan Hurd," in 2017, followed by additional EPs and his first full-length album, "Pelago," in 2021.
