Bio

Tamia is a Canadian R&B singer and songwriter known for her smooth vocal style and emotive ballads. She first gained recognition in the mid-1990s with her debut single "You Put a Move on My Heart," which appeared on Quincy Jones's album Q's Jook Joint. Over the following decades she released several albums that blended contemporary R&B with soul influences, earning multiple Grammy nominations and consistent radio airplay.
