Bio
Friendly Fires are an English indie dance band formed in St Albans in 2006. The group blends dance-punk and new rave influences with bright synths and driving rhythms. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2009, reached the UK Top 30 and earned a Mercury Prize nomination. Follow-up Pala (2011) and later singles such as "Love Like Waves" maintained their reputation for energetic, festival-ready indie dance.
