Uncle Waffles is a South African DJ and producer born on 30 March 2000. She rose to prominence in 2021 with her breakout single "Tanzania," which helped popularize the amapiano sound internationally. Known for blending amapiano with elements of gqom, bacardi, and afrobeats, she has become one of the leading figures in South Africa's contemporary dance music scene.
