Bio
Natalie Dessay is a French soprano renowned for her coloratura technique and dramatic stage presence. Born in Lyon in 1965, she rose to prominence in the 1990s with signature roles such as the Queen of the Night, Olympia, and Zerbinetta, performing at leading opera houses worldwide. After retiring from full-time opera in 2013, she has focused on recital work, contemporary music-theater projects, and occasional returns to the operatic stage, maintaining an active international career.
