Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. is an American country music singer and songwriter from Valdosta, Georgia. The son of singer-songwriter Rhett Akins, he rose to prominence in the early 2010s with a blend of traditional country, pop hooks, and R&B influences. His debut album It Goes Like This (2013) produced multiple number-one singles including “It Goes Like This” and “Get Me Some of That.” Subsequent releases such as Tangled Up (2015), Life Changes (2017), and Center Point Road (2019) yielded further chart-toppers like “Die a Happy Man,” “Marry Me,” and “Look What God Gave Her.” Rhett is known for co-writing hits for artists including Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean, and he has earned multiple CMA and ACM awards. His 2022 album Where We Started continued his crossover success.
