Yandel

Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and urbano latino singer, songwriter, and producer best known as one half of the duo Wisin & Yandel. Born Llandel Veguilla Malavé in Cayey, Puerto Rico, he rose to prominence in the early 2000s with the duo’s string of hits and later launched a successful solo career. His solo work blends reggaeton, Latin trap, and dancehall with mainstream pop appeal, highlighted by albums such as De Líder a Leyenda and the single “Plakito.” Yandel has collaborated with artists including Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, and Bad Bunny, and he continues to release music under his own imprint while maintaining a high profile in Latin urban music.
