Don Omar

Don Omar is a Puerto Rican reggaeton and Latin urban artist from Carolina. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s with hits like “Dile” and “Dale Don Dale,” becoming one of the leading figures of the reggaeton movement. His 2006 album King of Kings topped Latin charts and earned multiple Latin Grammy nominations. He is known for blending reggaeton with hip-hop, dancehall, and tropical rhythms, and has collaborated with artists such as Tego Calderón, Daddy Yankee, and Natti Natasha. Omar has also acted in films including Fast Five. He founded his own label, Orfanato Music Group, and continues to release music that shapes Latin urban sounds.
