Grupo Frontera

Grupo Frontera is a regional Mexican group from Edinburg, Texas formed in 2019. They rose to prominence with their 2022 hit “No Se Va” and the 2023 collaboration “un x100to” with Bad Bunny, which topped the Billboard Global 200. Their sound blends cumbia norteña, norteño, banda, and modern corridos tumbados. The six-piece act—consisting of Adolfo Angel, Juan Javier Cantú, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto “Beto” Acosta, Carlos Guerrero, and Brian Meza—has released the albums El Comienzo and Jugando a Que No Pasa Nada on their own imprint. They have performed at Coachella and major U.S. arenas, becoming one of the leading acts in the new wave of música mexicana.
